With a Construction career that spans almost 30 years Alistair is a Bricklayer by trade and has been a Registered Builder since 2015. Alistair’s main focus is directing the company in line with the business growth strategy over the next 5 years. He is heavily involved in continued relationship building with key industry players in Australia in addition to ensuring that the service offerings are in line with market demand – a key attribute for the companies success to date.


Construction Manager

Shane has over 20 years’ experience in the construction industry both in Ireland and Western Australia. He has been involved in managing a variety of significant commercial projects for Tyrone Group, the largest being Perth’s Children’s Hospital. Shane entered the building industry as a tradesman and has worked through many roles including Site Supervision, Contract Administration & Health & Safety. With a hands on approach, and results orientated attitude, Shane endeavours to ensure the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget.


Business Manager

Amanda has managed a number of businesses in the past 20 years based both in Ireland and Australia. Amanda’s career was initially built in the Recruitment Industry and for the past 8 years in Construction in Australia. Amanda has both a Diploma and a Bachelors (Hons) Degree in Business Studies and Marketing (University of Ulster, Ireland) and a Certificate in International Business Studies (Centenary University, NJ, USA)

Amanda’s responsibilities as Business Manager with Tyrone Group includes managing all business operational processes to ensure delivery of projects to clients. Her focus is to support improvement of profitability and growth of turnover whilst building and delivering on the strategic business plan.

Amanda oversees Human Resources, Training, Marketing, Finance & Administration, IT, HSE, Facilities & Business Improvement (ISO compliance).


Management Accountant

Sarah is a CPA Qualified Accountant, originally from the UK. She relocated to Australia 20 years ago. Sarah worked as a Management Accountant in the mining industry for Resolute Mining Limited for 10 years. At RML Sarah worked both in the city and traveled overseas to their various operating mines to provide training and assistance. Sarah transferred from the Mining industry in 2008 and has since worked for a number of entities providing Accounting services. Sarah joined Tyrone Group in May 2015 and manages all the daily finance functions at Tyrone Group.


Senior Estimator

Rudyace is a highly capable and experienced Estimator with experiences spanning 8 years involving small and large complex projects in Civil Construction sector. In addition to this skill, he has acquired a wealth of relevant skills and experiences in Project Administration, Procurement, and Tendering. Rudyace is a registered Civil Engineer and a member of Philippine Institute of Certified Quantity Surveyors (PICQS).

As an Estimator for Tyrone Group, Rudyace aims to contribute by helping the business manage their costs through well-reasoned estimates and cost effective tenders.


Senior Site Manager – Construction

Peter is a trained Stonemason who has been Bricklaying for eighteen years. He has been working with Tyrone Group since 2012, the majority of those years in management roles within the Masonry division. Peter has been instrumental in the delivery of many high profile commercial projects including Perth’s Children’s Hospital, Scarborough Foreshore redevelopment and Curtin University upgrades.


HSE Representative

Marlen has over 10 years’ experience in the construction industry both in Italy and Western Australia. He has been working with Tyrone Group since 2018 as a Bricklayer and more recently as our Health and Safety Representative. Marlen holds both a Diploma in Building and Construction Management and a Certificate lV in Health and Safety.


FRP (Formwork / Reo / Pour) Manager

Joe has over 20 years experience in formwork including delivering projects in high end residential, commercial and industrial works.

Joe is passionate about concrete construction and the processes involved. He offers a hands on approach whilst directly engaging all key internal and client stakeholders.


Finishing Supervisor

Kevin is a qualified Solid Plasterer with over 15 years experience in Ireland, New Zealand and Australia. Kevin manages a team of Renderers who are competent in all aspects of decorative finishes including Venetian Plastering and Microcement.


Site Manager – Masonry

Tom commenced his Bricklaying career in Ireland in 1998 working on both residential buildings and prestigious commercial developments. After relocating to Perth in 2014 he joined Tyrone Group and has been instrumental in supervising many Masonry projects including The Treasury Building, Kings Square, The Beach house in Cottesloe, various government defence projects and educational institutions.


Site Manager – Masonry

Brian has worked in the building and construction industry for a total of 21 years, 7 years in Scotland and 14 years in Western Australia. He started with Tyrone Group in in 2008 as a Labourer, then trained as a Bricklayer followed quickly by managing commercial projects in his role of Site Manager. He has worked on many large projects with Tyrone Group including The Treasury Building, Westfield Carousel and the Perth Railway Projects.


Site Manager – Masonry

Jim has 25 years’ experience in the building & construction industry with the last 13 years with Tyrone Group. He commenced working as a Bricklayer and is now a Site Manager. He has worked on many large projects with Tyrone Group including North Beach Primary School, Woodside Building on St. Georges Terrace, Westfield Carousel, Perth’s New Children’s Hospital & more recently on the Chevron Building on the Esplanade.


Supervisor – Masonry

Nick is a seasoned Bricklayer with over fourteen years experience, six of those with Tyrone Group and more recently a Supervisor on the Masonry team.

He has been involved in the delivery of many projects including apartment complexes, shopping centres, government buildings & schools including Willetton Primary School, a job he is especially proud of given its highly detailed and intricate brickwork.


Supervisor – Masonry

Terry has 10 years’ experience in the Building & Construction industry, working as a skilled labourer in the UK before moving to Western Australia. He joined Tyrone Group in 2019 commencing as a Bricklayer and is now a Supervisor in the Masonry division. Terry has worked on large projects which include Chevron on The Esplanade and Curtin University Exchange.


Logistics Manager

Andrew has worked in the Building & Construction industry for 16 years and started with Tyrone Group in 2013. He has mastered many roles with the company including Bricklaying, Machine Operator and Logistics Management. Andrew holds many industry tickets and certifications & takes charge of ensuring all yard & delivery duties run smoothly.


Precast Supervisor

Chris started work with Tyrone in January 2021 and has successfully taken on the role as a Supervisor of the Pre-cast concrete division. He has over 45 years’ experience in the Pre-cast concrete industry and has managed over 1.5 million tonnes of Pre-cast concrete production. His experience begins at the age of 15 starting his own Pre-cast concrete business with his brother in the UK before moving to Australia and continuing to develop within the industry.
