
NORTHAM ABORIGINAL INTERPRETIVE
CENTRE
The Bilya Koort Boodja Centre for Nyoongar Culture and Environment Knowledge is centres in Northam’s CBD on the foreshore of the Avon River.
This regional tourist attraction offers an interactive educational experience that recognizes the rich aboriginal and environmental presence in the Nyoongar Ballardong Region.
The centre opened its doors in 2018 and will protect, celebrate and share the culture of the Nyoongar people and highlight land management practices that draws upon the knowledge of the land’s traditional custodians.
CONCRETE
Tyrone Group Concrete Division undertook both the structural and finished concrete package to this new riverside tourist destination.
The contract package included the pile foundations, Under-croft Car-park as well as the burnished Concrete suspended slab to the main floor a suspended walkway and exposed aggregated pathways.
