MARK THOMPSON
Manager – Construction (Head Contract Division)
Mark brings more than 33 years of experience in the Western Australian construction industry and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management. He has successfully led projects across the Commercial, Education, Aged care, and Industrial sectors.
With a strong background in both Project and Construction Management, Mark is recognised for his hands-on approach and commitment to delivering projects on time and within budget.
PETER SMITH
Construction Manager – Contracting
Peter began his career with Tyrone in 2012 as a bricklayer and has since progressed into key management roles within the business. Today, he is also a Registered Building Practitioner, bringing both trade expertise and leadership capability to his role.
He has overseen the successful delivery of major infrastructure and commercial projects, including works at ECU, Curtin University, the Garden Island redevelopment, and the Eastern Corridor train stations. Peter’s strong trade background continues to influence Tyrone’s quality standards and project delivery excellence.
JOE IEZZI
Structural Coordination Manager
With more than 30 years of experience in structural concrete construction, Joe has a proven track record in delivering large-scale commercial and industrial projects. He also successfully ran his own formwork and concrete company for many years, further strengthening his expertise in the industry.
Since joining Tyrone in 2018, Joe has been instrumental in the early product and process development of the Precision Construction System. Today, he plays a critical role in the planning and coordination of every Precision Construction project.
GAVIN KELLY
Project Manager (Precast Concrete)
Gavin brings more than a decade of leadership experience in precast operations across both Australia and the UK, supported by a strong background in construction technology. He holds a BSc (Hons) in Construction Technology Management and has successfully managed complex projects, including award-winning developments such as Kingston University and HMP Wellingborough in the UK.
He has also completed Lean Six Sigma training and now oversees the planning, production, and quality of all Tyrone precast components, applying his expertise to drive efficiency, precision, and continuous improvement across every project.
JENNY MCGILLEMHAOIL
Business Admin Manager
With over 20 years of industry experience, Jenny leads the implementation and ongoing management of Tyrone’s Integrated Management System, covering ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 14001 (Environmental), and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety).
Jenny plays a central role in embedding safety practices, process improvements, and compliance frameworks across all operational areas. Her proactive approach and attention to detail ensure our systems run smoothly and meet the highest standards.
SINEAD MCNAMEE
HR & Wellness Manager
Sinead joined Tyrone in 2022 and brings over a decade of human resources experience from both Ireland and Western Australia. She holds a Bachelor of Business Studies (Hons) in Marketing and a Diploma in Human Resource Management.
At Tyrone, Sinead leads the company’s HR and wellness initiatives, fostering a positive workplace culture and driving continuous improvement in employee wellbeing metrics year on year.
EMBER O’BRIEN
Environmental & Sustainability Manager
Since 2022, Ember has led Tyrone’s sustainability strategy, focusing on ESG and Circular Economy goals.
She develops programs to reduce waste, energy use, and carbon emissions while ensuring regulatory compliance.
Ember advises on environmental management, resource conservation, and operational efficiency.
She collaborates across departments to embed sustainability into daily operations and projects.
Her work supports long-term environmental benefits and helps achieve sustainability certifications.
Ember aligns Tyrone’s values with customer expectations and responsible business practices.
