ALISTAIR ADAMS

Managing Director

With a Construction career that spans almost 30 years Alistair is a Bricklayer by trade and has been a Registered Builder since 2015. Alistair’s main focus is directing the company in line with the business growth strategy over the next 5 years. He is heavily involved in continued relationship building with key industry players in Australia in addition to ensuring that the service offerings are in line with market demand – a key attribute for the companies success to date.

SHANE LOFTUS

Operations Manager

Shane has over 20 years’ experience in the construction industry both in Ireland and Western Australia. He has been involved in managing a variety of significant commercial projects for Tyrone Group, the largest being Perth’s Children’s Hospital. Shane entered the building industry as a tradesman and has worked through many roles including Site Supervision, Contract Administration & Health & Safety. With a hands on approach, and results orientated attitude, Shane endeavours to ensure the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget.

KERRY BELL 

Strategic Growth Manager  

Kerry spent over 20 years in senior management roles taking Australian Manufacturers to market leadership positions, nationally and internationally, before applying his skills to turnaround management then business consulting.

Experienced across multi-industries, including the construction industry, durable goods, mining technology, Med-Tech, defence, and conducting business in China and Southeast Asia, Kerry specializes in developing and implementing strategies that allow Australian organizations to create and capture sustainable competitive advantage. In particular using expertise in product development, sales channel strategy and supporting these with advanced manufacturing methodology.

Kerry’s industry experience is supported with an Executive MBA from UWA and AICD’s Company Directors course.

Garry Johnson 

Non-Executive Director 

Garry has over 17 years of non-executive director experience across several industry sectors. Garry has a proven track record of delivering profitable growth within corporate companies most recently as CEO of Steel Blue with whom he was chairman of from 2009 – 2023.

Garry has a values-based leadership stye and is also chairman of Business Station, a highly successful non-for-profit organization whose primary aim is to help small Australian businesses thrive.

SARAH EDWARDS

Management Accountant

Sarah is a CPA Qualified Accountant, originally from the UK. She worked as a Management Accountant in the mining industry for 10 years and transferred to the Construction Industry in 2008. Sarah joined Tyrone Group in 2015 and manages all the day to day financial functions at Tyrone Group.

RUDYACE ANDAYA

Senior Estimator

Rudyace is a highly capable and experienced Estimator with experiences spanning 8 years involving small and large complex projects in Civil Construction sector. In addition to this skill, he has acquired a wealth of relevant skills and experiences in Project Administration, Procurement, and Tendering. Rudyace is a registered Civil Engineer and a member of Philippine Institute of Certified Quantity Surveyors (PICQS).

As an Estimator for Tyrone Group, Rudyace aims to contribute by helping the business manage their costs through well-reasoned estimates and cost effective tenders.

JOANA NICOLAS

Contracts Administrator

Joana has over six years’ experience in the construction industry both in Singapore and Australia. She joined the Tyrone team in 2022 and her specific skill set has been a great contribution to many areas of the business. Joana is currently studying a post graduate Diploma in Business at Curtin University and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Engineering & Management in which she was awarded “Best Thesis” award in 2015.

PETER SMITH

Senior Site Manager – Construction

Peter is a trained Stonemason who has been Bricklaying for eighteen years. He has been working with Tyrone Group since 2012, the majority of those years in management roles within the Masonry division. Peter has been instrumental in the delivery of many high profile commercial projects including Perth’s Children’s Hospital, Scarborough Foreshore redevelopment and Curtin University upgrades.

SINEAD MCNAMEE

HR & Wellness Manager

Sinead joined the Tyrone team in 2022 and has recently been appointed HR & Wellness Manager of the Tyrone Team. She has a Bachelor (Hons) of Business Studies (Maj. Marketing) and a Diploma in Human Resource Management. Sinead has over 10 years’ experience working in HR and Office environments both in Ireland and Western Australia.

ANDREW BRENNAN

Logistics Manager

Andrew has worked in the Building & Construction industry for 16 years and started with Tyrone Group in 2013. He has mastered many roles with the company including Bricklaying, Machine Operator and Logistics Management. Andrew holds many industry tickets and certifications & takes charge of ensuring all yard & delivery duties run smoothly.

THOMAS LEDDY

Project Co-ordinator/Precast

Thomas has been a member of the team since 2016 when he joined as a skilled labourer. He has over 7 years’ experience in the building and construction industry and holds many industry tickets. More recently Thomas has become an integral member of our Precast division, overseeing enquiries and dispatch.

MARLEN LAZRI

HSE Representative

Marlen has over 10 years’ experience in the construction industry both in Italy and Western Australia. He has been working with Tyrone Group since 2018 as a Bricklayer and more recently as our Health and Safety Representative. Marlen holds both a Diploma in Building and Construction Management and a Certificate lV in Health and Safety.

JANICE LU

Accountant

Janice joined the team in 2023 and brought with her an impressive skill set and work ethic.  Janice graduated from Curtin University with a Bachelors of Commerce (Double Maj. Accounting and Finance) in 2016. She has over six years’ experience in auditing and accounting firms across both Malaysia and Perth and was also employed as part of an external audit team in a major public accounting firm in Malaysia where she completed her CPA (Certified Practicing Accountant).

MARK THOMPSON

Construction Project Manager

Mark has over 30 years’ experience in the construction industry in Western Australia and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management. Mark has been involved in all facets of construction management from estimating, contract administration, project management, construction management and general management of a large commercial construction company.  He has been involved in a variety of significant commercial projects from apartments to schools to nursing homes to industrial buildings throughout Western Australia in his 30 years.  With a wealth of knowledge and a hands-on approach, he endeavors to ensure the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget.

BO HU

Accounts Assistant

Since joining Tyrone in 2022, Bo has been a great addition to our finance team. She graduated from the University of Western Australia in 2012 with a Masters in Professional Accounting and has over 10 years’ experience as an accounts officer since. Bo is also currently undertaking her chartered accountants’ exams.

CHRIS WOOLSEY

Precast Supervisor

Chris started work with Tyrone in January 2021 and has successfully taken on the role as a Supervisor of the Pre-cast concrete division. He has over 45 years’ experience in the Pre-cast concrete industry and has managed over 1.5 million tonnes of Pre-cast concrete production. His experience begins at the age of 15 starting his own Pre-cast concrete business with his brother in the UK before moving to Australia and continuing to develop within the industry.

DARREN LIVINGSTONE

Manufacturing Manager

Darren joined Tyrone Group as Manufacturing Manager in 2023. He has built a successful career within both Manufacturing and Logistics industries, with over 25 years of experience in the Northern Ireland market. Darren has been a great addition to our team as he possesses a local level, hands on and down to earth approach with the ability to motivate his team to deliver the highest achievements.

LAMARA MCDOWELL

Administration 

Lamara came on board as our receptionist and administrator in December 2023. Since joining the team, Lamara has made a great impression and has gained experience in various roles across the business including within our Manufacturing and Precast divisions.

CLIVE QUINLIVAN

Business Development

With over two decades of dedicated service in the building industry, Clive Quinlivan has established himself as a seasoned Sales Consultant with a specialization in the brick and roof tile sector. His extensive experience reflects a profound understanding of the construction landscape.
